About Us

I Abigail) grew up around the lighthouses and rocky beaches of New England in a family of 6. Being the only girl in the middle of a pack (I mean, family) of boys has shaped me into who I am today. Being brought up in a loving, Christian home cultivated my relationship with God and eventually led me to pursue missions at the age of seventeen.

Meanwhile, David was growing up in the cornfields and farmland of the Midwest as one of 10 siblings. I imagine his great work-ethic comes from those years helping to build/repair a new home for his family and starting his own business with his cousin selling ice cream. Like myself, David was also raised up in a Christian home and blessed by good friends and family.

In 2007 we met in TX during a Discipleship Training School, fell madly in love, and embarked on a life-changing journey together. David supported me tremendously while I spent the next 3 1/2 years earning my degree at Palm Beach Atlantic University. While I was in the classroom filling my head with book-smarts, David took a more hands-on approach to education, completing a School of Worship and serving a full year as a YWAM staff member. His heart for young adults also led him to spend a number of months in VA Beach as an assistant youth pastor.

Finally, on July 27th, 2010 David proposed that we should get married. Eloquently. On the beach at sunset. I took him up on his offer. We were happily wedded on August 13, 2011. Despite the twists and turns that our lives had taken since the September we met in 2007, we both feel God’s call on our lives for missions.  Our deepest desire is that as we seek after God…falling and fumbling on the way…others would see the magnificence of Christs love in us.

“Love knows no limits, but ardently transcends all bounds. Love feels no burden, takes no account of toil, attempts things beyond its strength; love sees nothing as impossible, for it feels able to achieve all things. Love therefore does great things; it is strange and effective; while he who lacks love faints and fails.”- Thomas A Kempis
